See Me
Hopefully, You See Me
Would love to find comfort in your arms,
Wishing you were here.
The nights are colder without you,
Lonelier in your absence.
Your voice is the only thing keeping me sane.
Every morning, I wake with thoughts of you,
Longing, yearning,
Your silence—my torture,
Your jokes—my solace.
At night, I whisper to the stars,
Hoping the message reaches you.
Lucky are those who get to have you—
Your energy, a force not to be overlooked.
Felt warm and cold all at once,
Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.
But the words keep pouring.
It’s me again.
Hopefully, you see me.
