"On the Sofa"
On the sofa she sat,
Observing and sipping—
With a glance, she caught the heartache
Etched across her mother's face,
The pain and discomfort
Weighing down her siblings.
Everyone,
Lost in their own little worlds.
Slowly, quietly,
They were drifting.
In the midst of rising problems,
They had forgotten their bond.
What can she say?
Is there hope for revival?
Or will things fall further apart?
She reminisced about the good old days...
Now, on that same sofa,
She watched them fade.
